Former Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser on GTA 6: “I think it’s going to be a very exciting game.”

The former co-founder of Rockstar Games reflected on GTA 6 and the sequel to Bully.
“I think it’s a great honor to work on something so big. You know, I’ve written the last 10 or 11 versions. I think there’s enough GTA in the world for me.

But I think it’s always a new story. It won’t be the story I wrote or the set of characters I developed. I think it will be a very exciting game. I’m sure GTA 6 will be great.

[…] Speaking of the failed Bully sequel, I think it was a matter of lack of resources. You know, if you have a small creative team and a small management team, you just can’t do all the projects you want to do. We tried to do two projects with a fairly small team, and it was really difficult to figure out. How could we do that and still support both projects?” Dan Houser shared. Earlier, Tom Henderson suggested on the Insider Gaming podcast that GTA 6 could be delayed until October 2026.
